Lesson FAQ’s
How do I sign up?
Head to our New Rider section and fill out the form. We will get back to you to discuss the details!
What should I wear?
Riders must wear an ASTM or SEI approved riding helmet. For clothing, a comfortable stretch pants or riding pants, a t-shirt or long sleeve shirt and boots with a very small heel (rubber boots are fine) are required. Hoodies, jeans or shorts are not allowed.
What happens if I miss a lesson?
Please be advised that 24 hrs notice is required for all cancellations. No refunds or makeups will be issued. We allow for 1 make up lesson per month if we are notified more than 24 hours in advance. We will try our best to schedule a makeup lesson with the same instructor, configuration and with riders of the same level but this is not always possible. The makeup may also be in the form of a theory lesson. Please see the New Rider section for a more detailed explanation.
Do you ride in all weather?
When the weather reaches +30 with humidity or -20 with the windchill your lesson may be modified or rescheduled for the safety of yourself and the horses.
Can I bring a friend to my lesson?
All visitors must sign a liability waiver before entering the property. No visitors are allowed in the paddocks. Small children must always be supervised by an adult. Visitors must not interfere with the lessons.
